ABOUT
Dreiky Caprice, wants to wake up the world. In the 90’s she was the girl drummer phenom of SoCal supergroup Crash Worship, polyrhythming her way around the US and Europe. In 1996 she moved to the squats of NYC’s Lower East Side and then onto Brooklyn where she opened and co-directed underground performance space Happy Birthday Hideout.
After performing for over a decade in the NYC music and art scene amongst the quickening pace of climate chaos and mindless consumption, she decided to reinvent her life as a permaculture designer. In 2008 she bought a 14 acre property in Ellenville, NY where she has been raising her daughter and numerous other creatures with her partner.
Dreiky listens to plants, designs gardens, moonlights as a live sound engineer, dances, makes art, imagines positive future visions, day dreams and sculpts Temporary Autonomous Zones from the raw wave forms of synthesizers, samplers, drum machines, and effects. She is a singer, drummer and poses as a baritone guitar player and keyboardist. Her desire is to take people on an emotional journey where the innate wisdom of the body can explore, release, and connect with all that is. Free your ass and your mind will follow.
